水與中風

近來都有多宗介乎40-60歲以上的阻塞性中風個案,當中都有提及發病前飲水量較少。其實,飲水是健康的關鍵,早在中國唐代就已經有人注意到飲水的好處,有一本著作《千金翼方》,在卷十三中,有一卷叫“服水經”。正確的飲水方法能預防疾病,延年益壽。身體一天開始運作的關鍵,是靠足夠的水份攝取,人體每天會透過呼吸、排汗、排泄至少流失500毫升水份,補充水份可以幫助腎臟及肝臟解毒;嬰兒身體的水份佔88%、20歲的人水份佔 68%、60歲的人佔40%,含水份越少離死亡的日子也就越近。一個人一天所需要的水是2,000cc,一年約7,000公升,一個人如果活到70歲,所需要的水量就高達50,000公升。水份攝取不足,身體就不會健康,水是便宜又有用的東西,所以無論窮人或有錢人,都可以藉着多喝水來維持身體的健康。

都市人常言要遠離三高(高血脂、高血糖、高血壓),先要使血液不太黏稠,必須從喝好水做起。如果一天沒有攝取1.5~2公升的水,影響最大的是腦、腎臟、皮膚,如果沒有攝取一公升以上的水,人將會感到煩躁不安,連帶便泌等很多疾病也會產生。通常皮膚光潤就代表這個人是健康的、水分也足夠,如果皮膚不光潤、凹凸不平,就要檢討是否缺水。老化的徵兆顯示在皮膚上,如果以水的供應來看的話,先由腦部再進入肺臟、肝臟、腎臟、肌肉、骨骼、皮膚,當肌膚發現乾燥時已經是缺水得很嚴重了,因此近年化妝品都著重保濕效果。

人的老化跟酵素有很大的關係,酵素越多,越不容易氧化、越不容易老化,大家常說要多喝水、多吃水果,原因是水果中含有很多的酵素,而酵素的動力是靠水來催化的。

年紀漸長以及感到身體不適時,應時刻檢討是否水份攝取不足。抽筋、過敏、皮膚長癬,以及常有的青春痘、皮膚病、便秘等病症,都與水份攝取不足有關。此外,水份不足夠時,血液變得黏稠,會使腦部血管收縮,引起頭痛、頭暈症狀,嚴重者更會導致腦中風,因此我們應該在缺水前就要開始補充水份,當感到口渴時,其實已經是嚴重缺水了。

充足的水份可以改善血液循環,促進新陳代謝,排出體內廢物及毒素,達到活化免疫細胞的功能,與人體健康有著密不可分的關係,因此,多喝水、喝好水,正確地喝水,就是健康管理的第一步。
